Rules for pilots of VA AFL

1. General provisions
   1. VA AFL is a virtual airline which has a presence in the Internet and officially registered in the IVAO network. Simulation of fligts takes place in the IVAO network in real time using flight simulators and IVAO software.
   2. VA AFL is not a legal entity of any kind and is not aimed at making a profit as well as does not conduct any financial or commercial activity.
   3. VA AFL is not related to any kind of activities of the real airline.
   4. VA AFL membership is free. VA AFL exists thanks to private time and knowledge of its members.
   5. All the information presented on VA's AFL website, including but not limited to all interior pages of the website, is strongly prohibited for use in real aviation.
2. VA management
   1. VA is ruled by the Administration (next – Staff).
   2. Staff is formed according to the positions listed on the staff page on the VA's website.
   3. Activities of the VA Staff are subject to the Charter.
   4. VA Staff reserves the right to send from time to time emails regarding the activities of the VA to VA members.
3. Joining VA AFL
   1. Necessary requirements to join VA AFL at the time of registration on the website:
      1. The minimum age for VA AFL membership is 13 years at the time of registration on the VA's website.
      2. Be registered in the IVAO network.
      3. IVAO profile must be active and it cannot have a "Suspended" status.
      4. Register on VA site.
   2. Upon registration in VA, a pilot must register in the IVAO VA system within 14 days.
   3. By registering in VA AFL, members confirm that they read and agreed with these rules.
4. Suspension and expulsion from VA AFL:
   1. A pilot can be suspended or expelled from VA AFL in the following circumstances:
      1. A pilot did not make a single flight withing 180 days.
      2. A pilot breaks rules of VA and IVAO on purpose and regularly, including when a pilot makes flights in the IVAO network without using AFL callsign.
      3. Constant mistakes in flight plans.
      4. Abnormal behaviour, including cases when a pilot did not start descending in time to land in the airport of destination and continued flying not to the alternate aerodrome stated in his flight plan.
      5. A pilot provided false information during the registration.
      6. A pilot was banned from the IVAO network for 3 (three) months or more.
      7. A pilot did not register in the IVAO VA system within 14 calendar days after joining the VA.
      8. By the decision of the CEO of VA AFL.
   2. Upon expulsion of a pilot from the VA, the pilot's profile shall be deleted from the VA's website, but that action isn't required.
   3. VA Staff have not to explain expulsion reasons.
5. Flight operation
   1. Pilots must read and understand these rules and VA AFL pilot's manual.
   2. Pilots must follow the rules of IVA during the active network connection.
   3. To make a flight pilots must have special IVAO software and one of the flight simulators: FSX, FS2004, P3D, X-Plane or other.
   4. To make a flight for the VA as a registered pilot it is required to book a flight on the VA's website.
   5. All flights must be carried out online in real time using AFL callsign.
   6. Pilots who perform flights within 90 (ninety) calendar days are considered to be Active.
   7. VA's tracker works automatically, it is not required to state any remarks in IVAO flight plan.
   8. Pirep system is completely automatic; pilots are not required to send any additional information or reports - it sufficies to book a flight in Pilot Center and to connect the IVAO network using the chosen during the booking AFL callsign
   9. It is not necessary but is welcome if pilots state their VA AFL membership in the flight plan remarks section (/OPR). VA AFL doesn't check this remarks.
   10. Pilots can book all aircraft which are not booked by other members.
   11. It is a personal responsibility of a pilot to choose the correct route and to follow the flight rules in the IVAO network and in the area of responsibility of diffrent IVAO divisions; pilots must take into account by themselves the peculiarities of the air traffic in each specific region.
   12. The recommended language for radio communication with air traffic controllers is English (including flights within the territory of the Russian Federation).
   13. Pilots must get acquainted beforehand with flight information reports and weather conditions at the airport of departure, arrival and at alternate airports.
   14. All pilots without any exception must follow all IVAO online flights rules and regulations.
   15. Pilots should respect their colleagues, air traffic controllers and members of other virtual airlines.
   16. Pilots must take all the necessary safety measures when flying online.
   17. Pilots must timely inform VA AFL staff members about any conflicts or difficulties related to the activity of the virtual airline or its members by email hq@va-afl.su.
   18. All flights performed by the virtual pilots of VA AFL are supervised by Supervisors.
6. Supervisors
   1. List of supervisors is located on the website in the menu VA AFL - "Supervisors" section.
   2. Requirements for supervisors:
      1. An active member of the VA who did not break rules for the past 6 (six) months;
      2. Knowledge of English sufficient for communication;
      3. Skills of official correspondence;
      4. Supervisors who do not have positions in the staff are required to be at least at level 4 and have no less than 50 flights performed for the VA AFL.
7. Addition
   1. All amendments to these rules as well as to other documents and regulations of VA AFL shall come into force on the day of its publication on the website or on open to registered members part of the VA forum unless otherwise stated.
   2. Amendments to any documents and/or rules can be made at any time at the discretion of the VA AFL management.
8. FPL check system
   1. VA AFL have automatic system for check FPL. Every flight checked by this system. This system start check all flight from 02.02.2022
   2. Current errors:
      1. EET is bigger than FOB – total flight time is bigger then fuel on board;
      2. Transitions Routes – incorrect use transition routes in FPL route, including, but not limited to, routes in the Moscow area:
